Aurélien Capoue is a former French professional footballer, a midfielder trained at Chamois Niortais. He spent the bulk of his career at FC Nantes (2004-2011, 116 appearances, mostly in Ligue 1), followed by a loan spell at AJ Auxerre and a stint at US Boulogne.

Capped for Guadeloupe between 2007 and 2013, including two CONCACAF Gold Cup appearances, he gained top-level experience both at club and international level.

Before joining FC Nantes, he came through Fontenay-le-Comte and SO Romorantin early in his career. His younger brother, Étienne Capoue, is also a professional footballer.

Now based in Ibiza, he passes on to young players the standards, discipline and mindset needed to succeed on and off the pitch.
